I was not short of opportunity. I was short of somewhere that would teach me.

I spent a year in property with no system and no mentor. I threw money at ads and hoped but it didn't work.
That taught me what I actually needed: structured training, real skills, and someone who knew how to sell.
Then my mother had two strokes, and my father had to step up as her main carer. I am an only child. The responsibility I always assumed was years away had arrived.

The choice between public and private care options. The choice to show up for family without having to sacrifice. It was then that I realized, most ambitious people fail not because they lack drive, but because no one teaches them how to actually utilise it.
